Art for Art’s Sake
Called ‘modern’ because about 200 years ago artists started to look to their own values ahead of those of their patrons. If a need to formulate such propositions results in gorgeous publications like this, then hallelujah. For my part, as labours go it’s hard to imagine having more fun at work.
